Here I am at my first tournament. Hubs captured this picture of me. I was so incredibly nervous!!! I got 3rd place in my form (pictured) 2nd place in sparring, and 2nd place in weapons! WoooHoooo!!!

You go girl!! I took Karate right before I found out I was pregnant with my last baby -(he is now 6) I only did if for a couple of months – but have to laugh when I think about having to “roll” on the floor! I would get soooo dizzy! I guess my inner ears!! Anyway, that is awesome! How long have you been doing it!!??
I have been in karate for a year and a half. I took a few months off for personal reasons, but I am slowly getting back into it.

LOL, Cassandra…that is what all my friends say! Even my kids want Hubs to spar against me!! Sometimes, I think he may be a little scared of me!!!
